Year Round Tour Option

GENERAL TOUR OVERVIEW

Follow the footsteps of local hero and humanitarian Don Vasco de Quiroga, who became the first Bishop of Michoacan in 1536.  This tour will introduce you to several key towns and villages that are key aspects of this route, including Cuitzeo del Porvenir, Santa Clara del Cobre, Tzintzuntzan, Patzcuaro and Paracho.

Our tours are not pre-scheduled.  Please contact us with your travel dates to make arrangements

COST

The basic cost for one couple is $30,000 Pesos.  If you are two couples, your basic cost is $48,000 Pesos based on separate suites with private bathrooms.

Please contact us with your group size and age details, plus how many beds and/or rooms are required.  We will send you a custom quote within 48 hours!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Morelia is seated at an altitude of 6200 feet.  During the winter months, it can be quite cold in morning and evening.  Pants, socks, closed shoes and a  jacket are necessary.  We also recommend warm slippers for your room, due to tile flooring.

SUGGESTIONS

A travel mug for coffee or tea and a refillable water bottle means lower impact on Mexico's waste system.

Don't forget your camera, memory card and charged battery!

A NOTE ABOUT TIPPING IN MEXICO

Our philosophy at Casona Rosa & Soul of Mexico Tours includes compensating our team with a fair living wage. We trust our guests are open to the custom or tipping while travelling throughout the country as the absence of a tip means you were not satisfied with the services provided to you, regardless of what said team member is paid by their employer. We hope you, as our guest, will partake in this custom by including gratuities in your travel budget.

We humbly request that you cover your guides meals and/or offer a tip
